Wilts Mens qualify for play-offs
The Mens Wiltshire four rink team have qualified for the League play-offs for the first time.

The quarter-final is away against Holt and has to be played by 26th August

Team A continued their fine form in winning 50-22 and gaining all 10 points away at Wanborough C
They have now won six consecutive games and are top of their league.

Tea & Biscuits Team B gain first 10-0
The newly formed Tea & Biscuits Team B achieved their second win of the season by winning away at Wanborough A the score being 25-23 and 10pts to 0pts

First 14-0 of the season
The match against Cricklade resulted in a first 14-0 of the season 82-62.75 (Crickalde were one short on one rink).
The result of the match was rarely in doubt although it required o three on the last end of Mick Bevans rink to win the game by one shot.

The result means the Mens Wiltshire League team have now won 9 out of 11 and have a great chance of making the league playoffs for the first time ever.
Another narrow win, this time away at Haydon Wick
The Wiltshire League recorder another close win away at Haydon Wick the score being 75-71 with 10 pts gained for two winning rinks and 6pts the overall win.

Wilts return to winning way against Wroughton
Another close game resulted in a three shot win against visitors Wroughton, the score was 80-77 winning on two rinks giving a 10 pts to 4pts result.
​
Once again the result hung in the balance with Mick Bevans rink going into the last end needing to not drop more than four shots - which they managed.

Narrow defeat to Purton
The Wiltshire League team suffered a second successive loss, albeit a narrow one, to Purton.
​
The score was 85-86, winning on two rinks and losing on two resulting in 4 points
​
It was the proverbial game of two halves with Marlborough being 27 shots up at one point, Purton however mounted a comeback and were leading by three shots with one end to be played. The final end resulted in two shots for Mick Bevans rink meaning Purton held on for a one shot victory. The one positive being that the two shots scored on that final end meant that the rink was won 19-18 resulting in two points for the team.

First loss of the season away at Royal Wootton Bassett
The Wiltshire League team suffered their first loss of the season away at Royal Wootton Bassett (RWB).
The loss was not unexpected as RWB are probably the strongest team in the league and had also won all five of their matches 14-0 !!

The overall score was 62-103 which was RWBs lowest winning score of the season

Wilts League team win against Rodbourne Cheney
A hard fought game resulted in the Wilts Team maintaining their unbeaten start to the season.
The score was 80-75 with 12 points being awarded.
